The term references how cis allies will see a trans woman as a woman up until they think about her panties, or what is under them, and then all of a sudden, the trans woman is seen as male. It refers to how a trans woman in those circles is unable to escape other people judging them for what is between their legs rather than their person. The term is not something to be tied to cis women either. it has nothing to do with them. Most trans women date men, and trans lesbians are extremely likely to date other trans women as opposed to cis ones….but i love how in radical feminism, everything is about the cis people.
